We are looking for a Systems Analyst to join our team at our headquarters in Dagenham.

Requirements:

– Solid understanding of the full software development life cycle

– Knowledge of microservices especially in the context of Node.js, Docker, and Kubernetes

– Experience in managing Windows & Linux production servers such as Server 2019, CentOS, and Ubuntu under EC2 or Dedicated

– Expertise in JavaScript (ES6) & C# alongside familiarity with the other languages

– Expertise in SQL and NoSQL and must have Redis, Mongo, MySQL, and SQL server

– Experience in developing RESTFUL services with node.js and C# (MVC)

– Experience in Cloud such as AWS; including EC2, ECS, Fargate, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, etc.

– Knowledge of self-hosted GIT, GitHub, and Git Workflows with GitHooks for CI Pipeline

Proven experience in designing and debugging problems in multi-instance server environments

– Strong analytical Skills & managerial skills with excellent communication skills

Key duties:

As a Systems Analyst, you will be given an understanding of the company’s products and services. This role will focus on aligning system processes, application rationalisation, and simplifying the integration of future projects. The right candidate will be passionate and driven to deliver results and keen to build their career within Software.

– Detailed capture of System Processes and data requirements

– Analyse and translate Business requirements into technical/functional specifications such as high-level and low-level designs

– Define Project plans, scope, data migration requirements, and supporting documentation

– System test preparation and execution

– Liaise with Vendors & ISV for resolution of technical issues and evaluation of new technology

– Writing and maintaining Technical and end-user documentation

– Key stakeholder management

– Identify opportunities and contribute to IT roadmap

Responsibilities:

– Central & single technical point of contact for assigned projects and lead cross-project technical team(s)

– Analyse technical needs for assigned projects, closely work with external and internal teams to prepare strong technical documents

– Determine middleware needs internal or external for cross project APIs

– Design solution review processes during development sprints and in production and identify bottlenecks to suggest improvements

– Work in collaboration with internal and external teams to efficiently meet the technical needs of the assigned project

– Plan and evaluate the work performed by team and analyse the impact on the project

– Perform a SWOT analysis during the development of solutions, providing solutions to resolve potentially complex problems

– Provide LoE estimates for development and ensure deadlines are met

– Actively communicate with teams

Desirable:

– Knowledge of programming in C#, Node.js, United3D, Socket IO, WebSocket Server

– Experience of high-volume concurrent, multi-threaded server development

– Experience of multi-instance servers and know instance synchronization techniques and issues

– Experience in shell scripting

You must be educated to a degree level or possess equivalent skills from experience.
